Ever notice there are always insanely good spots inside libraries, amusement parks, and museums that that just torture us by not letting us skate them? Well, scratch the St. Louis City Museum off the untouchable list. Sam Mcguire came through with photos in issue 71, Dave Uthus just came through with this edit, and the rest is skate museum history.

because the museum used to have a skatepark in it. it was closed though, and its now just a place for kids to play on. but this video didnt even dent what the museum is even about. there are so many things to do there!

I read on the museum website that the bowls are an exhibit called "skateless park." I guess there used to be a skatepark in the building where the museum is and they used the wood to build stuff people can run around in. It looks better for actual boards.

I'm from St. Louis and the city museum is not a traditional museum. It's a collection of really cool shit you can play on. It's almost like a giant piece of art.

its too bad that this place is pretty much just a big play ground for kids...or at least it was last time i went about a year ago. they let people skate it again?
