Anthony Acosta's One Day In Skateboarding was spent in the serene tropical climes of Hawaii with Curren Caples, Jake Reuter, and Brian Sandlin. Needless to say, the vibrations were good.
The "One Day In Skateboarding" photo project took place all over the world on December 7, 2014. Coincidentally, this also marks the date of the attack on Pearl Harbor 73 years ago, a "day which will live in infamy" (according to the President at the time). With the involvement of the United States, this shocking attack set off World War II - a period of turmoil, incalculable casualties, and extreme tension. It took decades for the world to recover.
Nowadays, we can just grab our skateboards and fly to some of the most exotic spots on Earth on a whim. It's easy to forget that traveling wasn't always this easy. But as long as we have our skateboards, we're fighting the good fight.
