Save The Unisphere
There are plans to take out the Unisphere at Flushing Meadows park and thus likely destroy the skate spot under it. Sign this petition to help keep the Unisphere and maybe get a skatepark too.

It should be known that the petition link above asks for money for the petition hosting website. I don't have the spare cash to support that website, but you can still "sign" the petition without donating money by simply entering your info, hitting "sign," and then closing your window.
I've skated Flushing once and busted my ass to have three days or soreness, it ought to stick around and hobble more skaters into the future.
