yes the skating was incredible. mariano's part was a triumph of the human spirit. mj and koston killed it and carroll is still off the charts. the skating does not disappoint.
but why did lakai adopt the gayer editing tropes of the transworld vids, i.e., countless facial close-ups and spot fetishing. star-making is part of the game, but you don't need lingering male-model-type camera shots for that. sick skating and behind the scenes footage will get the job done.
