Last night Ako and Atiba sent out some text messages that it was Koston's birthday and they were DJing at the Cha Cha Lounge in Silverlake. Of course I told Nuge right away, because he and Richie Belton have been trying to settle the foosball battle with Ako and Atiba for like a year.
Black Label ripper Jason Adams, a.k.a. The Kid, is going to have two Danozone cameras and a microphone all up in his grill this weekend which means you're stoked. Why? Because when you type your questions in those comments, Jason actually answers them. Seriously, It's like magic. Like a unicorn doing a frontside rock'n roll slide down a rainbow passed a leprechaun into a pot of gold.
Just a little reminder that Dave Fink did some awesome video coverage for 3rd Lair's Top Shop contest. Bounce over to the best trick craze because there was some serious tricks that went down. Nollie inward heel front board? Was that a backlip kickflip out? Somebody do the investigative report and set it straight in the comments, because we're still trying to figure out some of these bangers.
That's right, we're going to be skating around with that guy who has a last name everyone likes to mess up, putting a camera in his face, and asking him the questions you type into those comments. How's that sound? Like listening to Black Sabbath and getting a bat tattoo under your eye? Sweeeeet.
Our web gangsters John and Ivo are fully ripping the Watch video page right now. Comments are in effect, you can link directly to each video, and the podcast is ready to be subscribed to. SkateboardMAG or die, cuz—bang bang.
Apparently there's some drama between Patrick Melcher and Gareth Stehr these days. Public accusations about who's copying who's blog, and who grew their mustache first have been flying left and right. Get their version of what really happened at garethstehr.com or patrickmelcher.net and decide for yourself.
There was not a sneak preview of the This Is Not The Baker Has A Deathwish Video.
We know, you've been wondering where you can check out all the Rollin' With and Mag Minutes we've been posting. Well the WATCH page is blowing up, get it.
Hell yeah we're pretty psyched about Rollin' With Caswell Berry. Why? Have you seen the footage in the bonus section of the enjoi DVD where he gets a haircut? Wow! Enough said. And you should be psyched too because if you type your questions in the comments we'll make someone ask them. For serious, the "hi-techness" at THE SKATEBOARDMAG is getting out of control. Pretty soon we might even have a Polaroid camera, laser disc player, Sega Genesis, and a big ass rear projection TV!
Skate it, shoot it, slash it, mash it, crash it, capture it, fracture it, edit it, credit it, slowmo it, bro it, cool it, kook it, kill it, spill it, PS3 it, defeat it... repeat it
