187'ing it.

Well, since my application to shoot photos for playboy was denied because they felt the girls wouldn't be able to focus on modeling having such an attractive photographer, I guess i'm stuck in the snowy midwest not shooting any skate photos so you'll just have to excuse the absence of skating and the high amounts of, well, not skating and an over abundance of, well, kind of pointless stuff.

First handrail I ever thrashed!

Visited this town I used to live in and figured heck, might as well go by the first (and last) handrail I ever grinded, bs 50-50, there wasn't any snow when I did it, just an awkward looking kid with the most jacked set up skating the dumbest rail in town.

And if you don't know...

"Milwaukee Wisconsin's Cream City Skatepark has recently fallen victim to the imaginative storytelling tactics of the news media. As you may know, Cream City was the focal point of a television newscast and newspaper article regarding the bust of a drug ring in Milwaukee. Cream City Skatepark has never, nor will it ever be involved in any illegal activity. The park was not charged in the case whatsoever. Our business is skateboarding, not drugs. This story was simply an over dramatized attempt to create a frenzy surrounding the park. Unfortunately, it has succeeded. Despite the rumors and lies floating around, we are open for business and working hard to clear our name. With our local skaters rallying behind us, we hope to come out on top.

Over the past 2 years we have worked hard to earn the reputation of being one of the best skater owned and operated parks in the Midwest. With the addition of a new owner in progress, we look forward to continued success and great skateboarding. Check out www.creamcityskatepark.com for an updated schedule of demos and events.

Thanks for your support in helping us clear the air."

Rise Skateshop Video

I feel like I'm living in Dubai or something with my internet as slow and spotty as it is--but none the less there is a new Promo/Teaser/Peeper for the new Rise Skateshop video out of Indiana. My internet's really too slow to download it right now but considering the dudes at Rise are nothing but top notch I can only assume the video is going to be as well--

Ghosting, Houdiniing, etc..

I catch some flak sometimes for just "ghosting" out of parties or some place but sometimes your just over it and want to be out of there. I found these 2 pretty rad sequences of dudes whom just seemed to ghost from skating at one point and haven't really seen them since (save the random party/get together). Maybe they were over it too...who knows.

Happy Birthday Fauser

and these are the days of our blogs...

So I went to the doctor this friday because I thought I was sick...again. I'm not one of those people that wears gas masks and washes their hands incessantly, but people say I have a slight bout of hypochondria (which is argueable). I think at this time last year I had already contracted (and succesfully over come!) Sars, The Mumps, Mad Cow Disease and as ashamed as I am to admit it, I also caught Mono from Benji---while talking with him over the phone (who knew that was even possible!?) Needless to say my doctor told me I needed to chill the fuck out, so what better way to chill than to spend more time in front of my computer chronicling the last month of my life in blog?!?! Don't tell him I was here..

Emerica Skateboard Demonstration

Looks like the Emerica team is coming to do a demo in good ol' Iowa! Should be good times, although last time I saw Heath he randomly came over to Mikey's house and I for some reason thought he wanted to beat me up. So warranting that doesn't happen, good times...for me--you'll have fun either way.

Sam McGuire

As a newborn, Sam's earlobe was plagued with being bent upwards and the doctors recommended having surgery to fix it. His mother, instead, opted to tape his ear to his neck, fixing it sans surgery.
