Fletcher Floodin
So I shot this sequence with Fletcher about a month ago at this Museum in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Those who watch the news or read the newspaper have undoubtedly seen photos of the flood and/or read stories about it. When we shot the photo the river was getting pretty high and I remember Eric saying it's the highest he remember seeing it. Tonight I was looking at some photos online of the floods and came across this.
Same place, stairs nearly submerged.
My Friend and fellow photog Mike Stenerson sent me this shot of my Alma Mater Iowa City, Lower city park and Dubuque st. The circle is the where the skatepark is/was and will once be again.
If the possibility is there don't hesitate to lend a hand one way or another. With the way the weather's been it probably won't be soon till you'll need the favor in return.
