In the latest issue of the MAG there is an Exposed where Matt Daughters is shooting a sequence of Lenny Rivas and his camera breaks. Maybe your like me and have a morbid fear of this event happening and wanted to know exactly what happened to his camera. If so, your in luck!! Because this morning after thinking about it too much, I decided to email him and see what happened, here is what he said:
"As far as the camera...what happens is the mirror becomes locked into an upright position, and the only way to fix it is to send it back to have it replaced with a new mirror box.....It's a pretty shitty situation, and it costs about $250 to fix "
Ugh.....well now you know.

if daughters only ended up spending $250 he got lucky. the shutter curtain in my seq cam broke this summer in barcelona and it cost me $550. was kinda a bummer. funny to think it was lenny cuz mine broke shooting stevie.
