Happy Birthday?

A year ago today this is what my neighborhood looked like. This was the first tornado i'd ever experienced and it was definetly crazy. We tried to go skating the next day and every spot we'd go i'd start to set some lights up and debris would be falling from the buildings; huge chunks of siding, bricks-- it was insane. Finally the cops told us to go home because they felt that it wasn't safe for us to be out skating around. SO I don't have any skating photos but here are some more aftermath photos if your into that sort of thing...

This was a liquor store and I guess tons of people were looting it.

Ok I'll admit I was pretty psyched on this, look how clean the roots came up. The owners...not so hyped because the rest of it was on their porch.

This is about 3 blocks from my house.

This was what the whole street looked like, just crap everywhere.

I guess everybody was at home when the tornado hit this house and some how no one got hurt. I think they finally tore the house down a few months ago.

I don't understand how these cars not only got up on the lawn, but some of them got flipped over and then had tree's smash down on them. What a kick in the nuts.

As a newborn, Sam's earlobe was plagued with being bent upwards and the doctors recommended having surgery to fix it. His mother, instead, opted to tape his ear to his neck, fixing it sans surgery.
