Familia is celebrating their third anniversary in style with an all day event; first a skate jam, then the premiere of their first ever video, and then a little maxing at the bar. Skating outdoors in February in the Upper-Midwest is an all too rare occurrence, so when it was 50 degrees out last weekend in Milwaukee, it was totally time for Wiskate dudes to come out of hibernation.
Back in September we got out on the river and skated; this time around, it being February and all, much of the water in Minne is pretty much frozen, so...

The contest is in jam format, so there is no stress over those couple seconds you have to kill it, just relax and skate custom built for the event street course ,designed by Nate Wessel. And there is more than just a contest, you can check the Simpel Session Film Festival with huge selection of videos from all over the world! And the parties will blow your mind away, with the amount of beautiful ladies, amazing local food and beer, and you will surprise yourself with amount of booze you will consume. Sometimes I feel like I still have hangover from those parties I attended a year ago.
