Familia True Heads Party
If you're going to be in the Twincities the last weekend in May, don't blow it, and be at Familia's True Heads Party.

Bitch what? Todd Bratrud Volcom Lizard Girl opening in Minneapolis.
School's done, I'm caught up on deadlines, Top Shop Saturday and maybe Sunday? My camera died.

Nate Compher, so photogenic. Peep the finger nub!

I was talking to Sam after the Girl demo in Des Moines wrapped up and that little dude came up to me and asked, "Hey, are you pro?" Of course I am! I signed his board, and even though I had not skated the demo, I had no skateboard with me, and even after I explained what I'd written on his board, he did not care that there was absolutely no evidence that I was in fact pro. He saw my camera and said, "Take my fuckin' picture with you." Cool. On my camera? Right.
So it's Thursday night, and I just got my card reader back. So now we have Top Shop Friday. Cool? I hope so...I hate photoshopping stuff.

Sam McGuire, Friday morning, 1:30 AM. Oh good, we got a twelve pack!
Blowing it! Top Shop is almost three days old, and not a peep out of me. So there's my punishment above, a proper beer bong concentration pic. Ok. I lifted that one from handjob, and you can tide yourself over there for a bit. Otherwise I just need to get my card reader back from the girl I used to live with and it's on. I even took some sick photos of my chest bruises today! Cho ass?!

Yeah dudes. Top Shop is this weekend in Minne. It's always a sweet time for partying and seeing people...and skating...and again, partying. This is a video of the first one from 2003. Things got epic.
I've held for quite some time that 411 30 is the best 411 ever. It had a DC Euro Tour, a Flip ams section, as well as a Rowley profiles. And then I stumbled upon this all of five minutes ago:
Quite the proper James Craig part! I say that 411 15 is up there, but when it comes down to it, #30 is the best. Thoughts, feelings, opinions? Let em rip.
So, if NBA players need to file taxes in every state they play in, would the same hold true in skateboarding some way?
Mike writes about skateboarding and lives in Minnesota. He's short and listens to NPR all day.
