midwest marauders

First Tre Day, then Top Shop, and now the Midwest Marauders premiere. Midwest Marauder's is Calsurf's first video ever, and the shops been around for ages. It was a big deal. I've ridden for The 'Surf forever, so it was really, really fun to see it go down, even though my lame ass didn't muster a part. It's been a hectic 3 weeks in Minne.

The night started with lobster corn dogs.

Then we saw this awesome truck.

We made it.

Once inside the bro-storm raged. Rada, Chips and Dan, 30+.

Mike, Jamiel, Eddie, and lurking Buddy. Extreme makeover on Jamiel, if the gotee (sp?) was gone, he'd be 15 again.

High fives! Joe, video maker, and Scott, Calsurf owner. What a long strange trip it's been.

Davis trying as hard as he can to look mean. Good part kid.

Jeff Bauman and his girl (not his sister). He moved to San Diego today, not to chase the dream, but for the hell of it. His part, in conjunction with the song he skated to and PBR, blew my mind.

Enders, CJ Tambornino. Where was your dad CJ?

John Muldoon, ex-vert pro, judger of skateboarding, and now, after his introduction for the video, poet.

That's Davis Torgerson, and yes, that's switch.

Neal Erickson and Rob Sissi. Rob gave Neal the nickname "Teenage" when Misled Youth came out. JT skated to "Teenage Wasteland", and Neal was one of the few people in the city that was skating rails at the time. Neal's been laying low lately, and Rob is busy as shit, so it was rad to hang out with them in tandem, and rad to hear a 25 year old dude be called Teenage for the first time in a long time.

Jr. High skate buddies. The Jacket is going to be all over this months coverage meter.
Bonus Tre Day Throw Back Photo

Pretty typical photo of Sam at the club. Boo-ya.
