Who's World Is This?

The world is ours, I guess. Time's Person of the Year is all of us, and that's because of our collective presence on Myspace, Youtube, Wikipedia, and the Slap message board. The general idea that I got from this most recent issue is this, "Hey Stupid, the internet rules." How apropos that I'm totally blogging my ass off about this.

In a way though, the whole "the internet rules/collective approach to media" idea that Time ran with is on point for skateboarders. Ask Richie Jackson, or that kid Jamal from Crailtap. What about all those video parts that showed up in interweb land way before the video ever hit the streets, or the news section in the magazines which are no longer necessary to read? Will skaters' comebacks of today be aided by easy access to video parts from the past? Some new, and some old developments here, but things have definitely changed.
