Vote Son!
The polls open a week from Tuesday, and yes, it is a mid-term election, but if you can, don't forget to vote. As for how voting or not voting can affect skateboarding as a whole, I'd love to see numbers regarding which party is more sympathetic to getting a skatepark built, or how they (the parties) tend to pass ordinances against skateboarding. I doubt said numbers will ever surface, but it is something to ponder. The way things are laid out, the real thing in the balance is who will win the House or the Senate, but you never know who's kid skates, so don't forget, vote. And yes, my graphic is cheasier than hell, but it's non-partisant, right? The hat is a damn good touch.
As of this posting central time, the SPOT dudes haven't posted the winners of Damn Am yet. Cross your fingers and hope your guy came up on top.
Daylight savings time, or the end there of, is hell for us in northern climes. Hello to darkness at 6:00 PM, and it only gets earlier.
