Midwest Bowlriders
The final stop of Midwest Bowlriders is in Minneapolis this Saturday at 3rd Lair.
There's a spot called The Roofs in St Paul, you may have seen it in a video or two. The carnage that you see on Vinnie's hand (last clip of the previous link) was caused by his attempt to bomb the hill that leads down to the spot. You see, it's on the river front of the Mighty Miss, and thus, it's quite a ride to get down there. My old roommate Keith attempted it on his 21 birthday, and no hospital visit was necessary as in Vinnie's case, or as in Josh's, though, he did start drinking immediatly after returning home form his attempt. I've floated the idea of a "Roof's Hill Bombing Contest" around town but nobody want's to get sued. Truth be told it's probably no gnarlier than certain hills in Sf, though it is rougher than shit. 50s beware.
