Party on the Res...
Some of the Brimley squad went out to the Apache reservation for the Apache skate blast 07. It was a good time and we were treated so good every where we went. Special thanks to Douglas Miles and everyone involved with Apache skateboards and the San Carlos skatepark.
Theres a bunch of bario dogs on the res. Some of them are really depressing.
First thing I saw when we got to the contest was this kid with the best shirt ever.
I dont even know if Bucky brought extra clothes, but he brought like 15 packs of soy jerkey. Its all he ate all weekend.
Wait I was wrong, he also ate fry bread. We all did. Thanks to EVERYONE in Douglas's family for making epic frybread for all of us. It was delicious.
After the contest Thad and I hit the casino. He got 4th place in the sponsored division(Thad isnt even sponsored, hes the brimley filmer and did better than all anyone on the team) so I spotted him 20 bucks to play the slots. We lost.
Aside from owning and running Apache skateboards, Douglas Miles is a rad artist. He had a huge painting hanging up at the casino. This photo is blurry because security was running at me to inform me there are no photos aloud in the casino.
The next morning we were about to go skating when Douglas saw us in the parking lot and decided to have a mini product toss and give us a whole bunch of rad shit.
In the end we came home with so much shit, and even got some street skating in. Good trip.
