Ok. Changes are upon us. For the last three years of YBAm one of the requirements to win was you had to remain amateur for the whole year. In 2008 the class was decimated by those turning pro leaving only a handful to choose from that are deemed worthy. After lengthy talks among staff members it was decided that it was more about the body of work as an amateur in 2008 that qualified you. Therefore making David Gravette, Alex Olson, Mike Mo, Torey Pudwill and others still eligible. Remember, many of the aforementioned skaters were am for a full 8 out of the 12 calender months but still killed it as an amateur with video parts, mag coverage and much more. Call it how you want. Look for the winner in January 2008.
