Sinisa Egelja, Rest in Peace

Our old friend, Sin Egelja, passed away this last weekend in Australia. Sin was one of the funniest and most creative people that came out of skateboarding and we will miss that spark Sin possessed. Our hearts go out to Sin's friends and acquaintances worldwide, his family in Australia and his daughter, Stella. Rest in peace, Brother.sin rest

After a lot of begging he finally gave me those trunks he's wearing in the above photo. I remember those days driving around with Sin in that yellow Volvo. I could go on and on about the fun times we had together. From here to eternity, your light will shine forever!

For those who don't know of Sin, if you skate, he influenced you and you don't even know it. He was funny, creative, frustrating as hell...but always pushing for what he believed in. Definitely one of a kind and we'll miss his take on things. He left many stories for us to tell. RIP.

I posted something on here that disappeared. So for now I will just say, Sin you will be missed, as you were loved.

Sin, i love you, always have, always will.

Met Sin in 1985, I think he just arrived in Del Mar.
Very cool guy, awesome skater, taught me some Aussie slang.
He's one of those you never forget.
