Did you ever see the original poster of that photo hanging in Chris' house in Ventura or wherever, long ago, where he had drawn in the rest of the upland? I wish i had taken a photo of that. I was out there to shoot photos of him, and it was hard to think of how I was going to shoot anything that topped that photo, and clearly I didn't.
It's still one of the best skate photos ever.

I've been lucky enough to see a lot of incredible skating in person, but one of my all-time highlights was the day I skipped my afternoon chem lab so I could get a full afternoon in at the Pipeline, and was rewarded with seeing this photo shoot going on when I arrived. I was pretty new to SoCal, and while I had been hitting the park a lot I had never actually seen Chris Miller there before that day. Like I said one of my all-time highlights.
