My first time was when I was 24 years old
It was a warm February, 1979 day in Del Mar at the Skate Ranch and I borrowed my roommate's Canon and shot my first roll of film. I worked and skated at the skatepark and had admired the various skate photogs who frequented the park. I shot one roll of film of Kyle Jensen, a local ripper and some came out. The only instruction I had was to match the exposure needle and have the sun to my back. The 27 year love affair continues and I will never end it.
