A lot happens in a four-day contest weekend. Tunes, injury, consumption of consumables, hand shakes, shit talking, and a good amount of high-school dance/high-school reunion/high-school musical vibrations. And whether you’re a pep-rally booster, a reserve player, or a homecoming queen coasting through on your winning smile, you have to know that these are the best days ever. Sure the teachers are lame, PE was a drag, and parents just don’t understand, but this is Tampa Pro 2014 … your whole future is ahead of you. Good luck and may the force be with you.

But first, allow us to present you with The Skateboard Mag‘s Fan Favorite from Tampa Pro 2014: Mr. David Gonzalez. Tailbone frontside air.
Again, David hoists, but this time it’s his freshly awarded Fan Favorite trophy. Congrats, man. You ruled the day.
Back to our regularly scheduled dance. Eric Koston was there, tearing it up. Switch fandangle at the COFFEESPoT.
Frosty brewed freshness. Koston keeps cool with a tailslide.
And who’s riding good? Steez Ortiz’s riding good. Backside tailslide.
Ishod runs tings. Tings nuh run Ishod. Back lip the whole way.
Getting Colden here. Trevor, backside Smith.
Spring breakers gotta take breaks, too. Jacob Smith pauses for satisfaction.
Koston snuck out for a quick game of HORSE with the locs.
And, yeah, we snuck in a little skating of our own. It’s spring break, doods. What do you expect? Matt Bublitz gets high.
The Zizza cranked an ollie for the love of the VIP contest game.
Old man Wilkins does a wheelie grind in the corner.
Even the good guys were down for fun times. Here are a couple Anderson’s getting hip out back. Mike over Kenny.
The man, though. Our man. Your man. Nyjah Huston is a man. And he brought his man game to Tampa Pro this year. Nollie back 180 to switch five-0.
Tampa Pro (psh psh) sprayed a man on Nyjah, son. Now he skates like a man and they treat him like one. Ollie over to backside noseblunt.
Podium distribution. Nyjah Huston, first. Chaz Ortiz, second. Alec Majerus, third. Fist-bump emjoi, doods!
Evan Smith. Voted most likely to rock.
