In the spirit of skateboarders paving the way, Vans Pro Skate collaborates with Canadian DIY skateparks Leeside (Vancouver) & Projet45 (Montreal) on a project built to last.
This September, Vans will release two exclusive styles, the Leeside Era 46 Pro and the Projet 45 Chukka Low, with plans to donate proceeds to the maintenance of these respected DIY skateparks. Inspired by the dedication of Canada’s local skateboarders, Vans is honored to support two iconic DIY spots and their communities, who have volunteered the time to preserve these parks for future generations to enjoy.
Available exclusively at Canada’s finest skate shops, this project takes design cues from the classic rugged work boot, customized with premium details such as leather tabs, hex eyelets and construction laces.
Both styles combine 45 years of proven vulcanized construction and Vans Original Waffle grip with enhanced impact cushioning technologies to deliver the best in modern skate performance. The Projet45 “Chukka Low” features Vans Boardfeel PU Sockliners for quick responsiveness. The Leeside “Era 46 Pro”, a member of the Pro Classics® Family, is built to protect and last with co-molded PU Impact sockliners and reinforced abrasion areas featuring DURACAP® toe bumpers and upper ollie underlays.
