This Summer Habitat Footwear will introduce the brands first professional
shoe models. The Guru Low, Guru High, & Guru Exolyte. Guru had many
creative ideas and we felt one style wouldn’t achieve all his needs. To
honor our first pro we wanted to provide multiple options that fit his
wide range of unique skating and reflect his personality. The colorways,
embroideries, and branding are all derived from Guru’s childhood growing
up in India.
To celebrate the occasion we asked Guru to plan a trip anywhere he
desired. Always one for an adventure, Guru set his sights upon the ancient
Incan wonder of Machu Picchu. Save for some altitude sickness, a few rain
days and a raving lunatic as our guide all went according to plan.
Adventure was achieved, tricks were documented, and a good time was had by
all.
“My favorite feature of the high top shoe is it’s ability to fold from a
low top shoe into an ankle supporting high top,†said Guru.
Guru’s shoe will be available at your local skate shop early June.
