Street League just sent over the plans for the skate plaza at the Ontario, CA event along with designer Colby Carter’s explanation of the course. See it get skated this Saturday, September 11th.
For the 2nd event, the design team gathered inspiration for their vision from indoor malls and entry plazas to create the setting for CB Arena in Ontario, California. Implementing a “blocky†theme, the design incorporates terracing and staggered stairs sets that wrap the elevated areas. The chunky, block features with the stacked, cantilevered detailing and the color block paving pattern gives this course design a style and flavor true to southern California.
