Adio Shoes and The Skateboard Mag have a Collab shoe coming out as a part of Adio’s Limited Projects Series. When our staff was invited by Adio to collaborate on the ongoing project, this is Volume 3, we jumped at the chance. Our first pick for a photo to be used was the Chris Miller Pole Cam photo shot at Upland’s Combi in 1987. It’s a classic, ask anyone who’s been around for a while. Chris, being the modest guy that he is, tried to dissuade us from using a photo of him, he was genuinely embarrassed. He got out-voted by us and the Adio design staff, everyone was stoked on the idea of one of the best skaters of all time and Adio’s Big Cheese gracing a shoe. The footbed of the shoe has an artist’s rendition of the photo done by none other than Todd Bratrud. The shoe is set to hit stores in time for Christmas 2007.
